Vintage Electro-Voice EV-SIX Speakers ~ Model E-V Six ~ Circa 1960's

These gorgeous speakers feature a four-way design that utilizes a
combination of separate drivers and horns for unequaled response with
minimum distortion.

Ultra precise high frequency response is delivered by a deluxe
compression driver and diffraction horn. Then an 8 inch mid-range
frequency driver is mounted in a separate wooden enclosure inside the
cabinet and finally the massive 18 inch bass driver with a
durable paper surround delivers overwhelming superior low frequency bass
response.

Highly regarded by Audiophiles as one of the top E-V speaker models
ever produced, considered rare in any condition and extremely rare and
hard to find in 100% original condition such as these.

The E-V Six had an original price in 1964 of $660 which is equivalent to just under $5,000.00 in today's market.

Cabinets have always been oiled and cared for very well and were just completely re-stained with a top quality stain in a Gun Stock color which really makes these things look awesome.

The E-V Six sound is often described as warm, detailed, three-dimensional, with rich highs and an impressive bass response.

Ultra-efficient with a peak capacity of 70 watts 8 ohms, perfect for tube amps.

These speakers were available in (2) hand rubbed finishes - walnut and mahogany.

These speakers appear to be the more rare mahogany version.

The cane [tweed-style] grill cloth
also in excellent condition . The brass E-V Six logos are attached and
complete. Totally untouched drivers inside the cabinets with no broken
solder joints or repairs.

Information about these speakers is about as rare as the speakers

Actual Dimensions: 30 inches tall ~ 32 inches wide ~ 17 1/2 inches deep ~
107 lbs each not packed. approx 140 lbs- shipping weight each
speaker.

I will completely wrap speakers several time with shrink-wrap so to help protect
them from foam packing materials and scratches and moisture then I'll use sheets of thick foam sheets on all surfaces and corners which is costly and
takes some time.

SHIPPING: Buyer pays for all shipping & crating costs and material costs for truck freight or Fedex if they will take them.

***We are experienced shippers and we've shipped large speakers worldwide

including many very large speakers. Truck Freight is the best and safest way to ship these.

Local pickup is available - Located in Yelm Wa. near Seattle Wa.

These would best to be shipped via pallet and truck freight, which I
would wrap completely several times with shrink-wrap then cardboard for
freight truck shipments. Crating costs will be charged for each speaker.
