I am selling a pair of Opera Divina speakers for a good customer. These have been stored in an air conditioned humidity controlled storage facility since he moved and are too large for his new room.

The Divina was the top of the Callas line and is a beautiful looking and sounding speaker. It leans to the warmer side, ala Sonus Faber, and other quality Italian designs. It uses 4 5" woofers with a soft dome tweeter as well as a rear firing tweeter. It is 89dB efficient and a 6 ohm load.

The cabinet is made in a mix of MDF and plywood, with teardrop-section curved sides, veneered and finely lacquered in the best Italian tradition. The front baffle is finished in leather. This, along with the benefit to appearance also serves to reduce edge diffraction.

Internally there are a number of interlocked braces which serve to increase the rigidity across the cabinet.

Thanks to the chosen geometry, together with other detail design features the Divina obtains a substantial increase in low frequency radiation from the reflex port which extends the bass response to the very lowest frequencies.

My pair is in great shape but rated 7/10 for a very small scratch from his cat on the side of one speaker. It is not even seen in the photos. If you are anal about this stuff a wood worker could fix the scratch for about $100.00. It is only even seen when the light hits it as just the right angle. Other than this it would be rated 9/10.
