Nearfield Acoustics Pipedreams Trophy Model 15 w/ Crown K2's and EDN-3 Active Xover $40,000 Off Retail Shown at CES

For sale is one of the best speakers in the world. Pipedreams Trophy Model 15's. This sale includes one set of Trophy Model 15's (This is the pair that were featured at CES 2006) with two Tribal Drummer subwoofers with dual 18" drivers, two crown K2 power amplifiers, and a latest version custom Great River EDN-3 active crossover. This set can be tri or bi amped. Together this set up retails for over $60,000. This pair of Pipedreams were built in Nashville by Sunny Umrao and as this set up was going to CES each driver was measured and matched before the speakers were built. You can see the craftsmanship that was put into the woodwork as the veneer is one sheet (most other pipedreams used pre veneered mdf with solid corners not one sheet rolled around the corners). The towers also feature 2” thick aircraft aluminum bases with spikes for the best possible footing and isolation. The active crossover and the power amplifiers allow this set up to go flat well below 20 htz. I ran Pipedreams for 5 years and can assure you of the quality of this set and that they are up date in ever aspect unlike many other sets offered here on audiogon.

There are no crates as this set up was picked up in Nashville and lovingly driven home by their owner after CES. Crates can be provided and a shipping quote given upon request. The boxes and manual for the crossover and K2 amps are included.

The only flaws are a chip that was repaired in the back of one sub (pictured) and a ding in the back of one of the towers. Otherwise they are in excellent condition and the slight flaws can not be seen when they are set up as they are on the back.
