Martin Logan Motion 40 Tower Speakers, like new, excellent sounding

For sale is a pair of Martin Logan Motion 40 Tower speakers that are in mint condition and performing excellently. They were used with care for about 2 months in a pet-free, smoke-free home. They are essentially brand new, have no readily visible cosmetic blemishes and I rated them 9/10 just to be conservative.

The Motion 40 series was created to provide stunning sound for home theater or 2 channel stereo.  It is an affordable and compact speaker line that seamlessly blends Martin Logan’s famed “Folded Motion” tweeter with powerful bass technology.  It’s 5.5” aluminum midrange, and twin 6.5” aluminum bass woofers promote an open, revealing soundstage and audibly richer, deeper bass than other similarly sized tower speakers. The result is a refined sound with stunning dynamic range and jaw-dropping clarity. Their frequency response is listed as 40 -25,000 hz but in use they seem to exceed this range.  Contributing to the Motion 40’s superb performance is Martin Logan’s legendary Vojtko crossovers that are carefully hand-built using only the finest components.

The Motion 40’s feature two sets of binding posts and hence they can be bi-wired or bi-amped. They measure 42.5”H x 7.6”W x12.8”D and weigh 49lbs  - so essentially they are svelte towers.  The original boxes and all accessories (stands, spiked feet, manual) are included.
