In the Absolute Sound show report of the standard LSA-1 Chris Martens summed up with:
"The
LSA Group LSA1 Monitors produce images that are gigantic, beautifully
focused, and three-dimensional beyond belief. These affordable
stand-mount monitors seemed remarkably free from edge diffraction and
struck me as being among the finest imagers I’ve ever heard at any
price. I was also impressed by the LSA1’s natural tonal balance and
unforced clarity. Though the LSA1s filled a quite large room with sound,
they never seemed to be working very hard." 

Stereomojo gave the LSA-1 their Maximum Mojo award and said: "These
speakers have the innate ability to bypass your ears and grasp your
heart, soul or both. One does not hear them, one experiences the music."

The CLS-10 uses a custom
ceramic/aluminum/ceramic cone woofer and does 600 watt peaks. It is flat to
19Hz.

Anthony Gallo makes amazing bass
from small enclosures. The $1195.00 CLS-10 features the Gallo BLAST bass loading, S2
internal damping pods, and OPT Level 2 technology. The 10” woofer uses a
Ceramic/Aluminum/Ceramic "sandwich" cone, which was created at a
molecular level utilizing a unique anodizing process. The
result of this attention to detail and technological prowess is an extremely stiff, yet light and
responsive, cone which is a desirable characteristic for a high performance
subwoofer. If you are looking for a fast subwoofer to move a lot of air for
music or movies the CLS-10 is untouched at near this price.

The
CLS-10 uses a 3/4" internally braced enclosure. It has high and low
level inputs with 5 way binding posts.There is a 0 and 180 degree phase
switch.The low pass filter is continuously variable from 50-200Hz. There
is a 3 position bass EQ switch centered at 25Hz for 0, 3 and 6dB boost.
It has auto power on/off and comes with a black metal grill.

The sub was introduced and selling thru dealers with a retail of $1190.00. Gallo took them direct and was selling them at only $699.00.
