Legacy Audio Classic speakers - Bill D's personal pr.

The previous owner purchased these used from the Legacy factory, and they were the company owner’s personal pair. They have upgraded mid-tweeters and upgraded crossovers, though I haven’t cracked the cabs to see exactly what they have in there now. I’ve been enjoying the crap out of them for the last couple months and they are a great value at the asking price -- they image well, sound natural, and do detail throughout the frequency range. They show no signs of compression at any volume I’ve tried (though I’m pretty conservative) -- they’re rated to 120dB in short-term output. Read the audioreview.com reviews and you’ll be convinced how solid these speakers are. With the tweeter upgrade, this pair is essentially Focus 20/20’s without the second mid and the subwoofer(s).  
Veneer is beautiful on these, probably one of a kind. I don’t really see anything wrong with them, and I’m pretty picky. I'd feel pretty good about calling these 9/10, but I did just find some very small splinter-sized nicks on the bottom front end of one speaker, so I'm going to downgrade these to 7/10. Drivers are all perfect. No grills.  I hate having to sell these after just picking these up this summer, but when financial shit hits the fan that’s how this hobby works....at least when you’re in the 99%....
