Walnut La Scala II B-stock pair
These have sequential serial numbers, but are marked as b-stock

These speakers were built by Klipsch from 2006 on and are the newer improved version of the La Scala. To be perfectly clear, these are the second version of the La Scala (e.g. marked La Scala II). These are not the original La Scala's, but are Klipsch's redesigned version, manufactured in Hope, Arkansas from 2006 on.

The newer version boasts:
Each speaker is ~65 pounds heavier than original, this means a better built cabinet
Improved/updated crossover
Each speaker weighs 175 lbs!
Updated drivers (not sure what specifically Klipsch changed)
Tops can be pointed at your ears and are fully detachable.

I think B-stock means there's a slight miss match between the top and bottom grain structure (there is no mismatch between color between pieces)

Some slight dings (see circles in pictures)

Finish colors vary somewhat in the pictures due to LED lighting in my room, all four pieces (two tops and two bottoms) match perfectly.

These are hooked up so you can hear that they work.

Not the original owner, but the speakers look and sound great!

Questions for the seller
what crossovers are used n these? AL-3's? Midranges? K-55M? Tweeters? K-77M?
Hi Ted, All stock. The backs are enclosed and have never been off, so you can't see the crossover. Klipsch did upgrade crossovers for the La Scala II. If you put google search "Lascala II horns, mid drivers, tweeters and crossovers" keeping the quotes, you can see pictures of some of the drivers and crossovers as a guy on the klipsch.com forums posted some. TWEETER: K-77-D 1" (2.54cm) Phenolic diaphragm compression driver MIDRANGE: K-55-X 2" (5.08cm) Phenolic diaphragm compression driver WOOFER: K-33-E 15" (38.1cm) Fiber-composite cone / folded horn-loaded Ellery Coffman
