GR RESERCH N3 Tower Better than Salk,Ascend? Must See!!

 Up for sale is a pair of GR Research N3 Tower speakers wrapped in Black Leatherette with Piano Black tops and bottoms.  If you are not familiar with GR Research now is the time to do some research.  This is a speaker designed by Danny Ritchie.  It comes as a kit.  You must built the enclosures, construct the crossovers, and finish them.  When completed, you have a speaker that competes with many no cost no object speakers.  The cabinets were built by Reuben of Fallen Enclosures.  If you visit Audio Circles, you see examples of his stunning work.  Although it has a small footprint, the speaker weighs in at 61 lbs.  The crossovers have all the upgraded parts and the cabinet is completely lined with no rez.  There will be no cabinet resonance smearing the sound.  It is a transmission line cabinet with bass down to -3db at 40hz.  The bass is tight and fast.  The B&G tweeter is lightening fast and according to some comparisons I have read, maybe more of a realistic sound than the RAAL tweeters.  There is a reason that one of the best speaker designers in the business has chosen it.  A new pair of Salk Song Towers with the RAAL tweeter will run you close to $3000.  The condition is very good.  The leatherette does have some scratches.  I cleaned them and you have to move around in different light to see them.  The bottom bases have some chips, scratches,etc...  The tops are very nice.  I am not the original owner.  The pictures were taken before I received them.  Please visit GR research to learn more about Danny's designs.  These are a one of a kind speaker that will be your dream speaker for a lot less money than you might have thought.  I am selling to pay sales tax on a new car.  Bummer.
