The version 2 speakers incorporate key changes to the 11" bass driver which increase power handling and linearity throughout the low frequencies. The midrange has a revised cabinet structure and internal volume. And the crossover network has been revised to take into account the driver changes. The sum total of the upgrades result in a smoother, more open and coherent soundstage with excellent driver integration and a larger sounding overall presentation.
