For sale is a NEW ESS Amt Ltd - all new drivers and cabinet with a DC GOLD AUDIO N69R mid-range added. The cabinet is all black, including the veneer. If you want a custom color or finish, it can be arranged for extra cost. The cabinets have interior dampening for a deader cabinet. The bass box has a couple of small dings, but can be patched and repainted or a complete veneer, depending on your taste. 
All crossover components are new and custom to this design - Jensen C-Coil for the bass, polypropylene caps, Ribbon inductor for the top end. Terminations are the low-mass WBT - 0703Cu The ESS AMT Ltd goes for $4500 and the modification is typically $1400, depending on options. 
 
The 12" passive has has a little weight added to take some of the boom out of the bottom for cleaner bass. The woofer and passive are the current paper come drivers. The 12" cone woofer, as good as it is, has a difficult time mating well with the Heil AMT Tweeter.  
 
The N69R is the ultimate bridge; it allows the 12" to operate in its comfortable range, places a extremely fast, low mass, spiderless 6 X 9 driver at its optimum range of 250Hz to 2000Hz, which allows the AMT to operate with a 6dB per octave slope. The other great feature of the 6 X 9 is the polar pattern mates with the Heil tweeter beautifully. All of the drivers cover the range they are best suited to cover while maintaining the awesome bass and highs of the original system.
