These CM-7 Speakers are for sale including Mapleshade Audio Systems Base and Brass Footers. Using these bases instead of the cheap black particle board base that B&W provided has tremendously improved the sound in all aspects, especially the bass, "Air" and ability of the speakers to simply disappear. They also have a really deep bass impact that defies the small woofers. Many people have asked if I’m using a subwoofer when they hear these speakers. Also, they don’t get that bass impact by loading against a rear wall or corner, my setup has them 5’ from the rear walls to get a wide and a very deep soundstage with the precise imaging you’d expect only from mini-monitors, only with the bass that you can feel.
They are in perfect condition and the rating would be 9-10 if I had the original boxes. There are absolutely no nicks, scratches or dents on the wood. All corners and edges are perfect. They’ve been used with good equipment in a smoke and kid free environment.
I really like these speakers and only selling them to purchase the B&W 800D Series. For the money, you won’t find a better sounding set of speakers and I’m also including the awesome Mapleshade base which alone added over $400 to my cost to setup these speakers properly. I’m not able to safely ship the speakers so an audition and local pickup in the Central Pennsylvania area is the best way to hear and appreciate how these B&W CM7 speakers image and can simply disappear in a huge soundstage.

Hello, would you consider ending the auction for your asking price. Please let me know if this is an option. Also, do you have the grills?
Thanks I'm sorry but I can't sell these speakers for $400. I paid more than that just for the Mapleshade stands. The speakers sold new for $2000/pr. I can get $700 in trade for the speakers alone, not including the Mapleshade bases on new speakers. Since I'm selling the speakers and stands together as a system, I wouldn't even consider any offers less than the trade-in value. Yes I do have the grills, they've never been used. |
Sorry, I wasn't clear. I didn't mean selling them for $400.00 I meant would you consider selling them for what you considered fair market value. Would you go to $800.00 I’d sell them for $900 including the Mapleshade brass footers and the solid maple base. FYI, I don’t have the original black particle board base that came with the speakers, they looked cheap and sounded terrible so I threw them away. |
