Bag End Loudspeakers TA-1202-I Dynamic Speaker in Unfinished SOLID Birch PRICE REDUCED

Available are a pair of BAG END TA-1202-I that I had custom made for me in unfinished Birch with black metal grills.  These speakers have the old style jack plate with Banana connectors, 1/4" and Speakon connectors. I had them omit the carry handles on the side and the logo badge on the front grille.  The logo is burnt onto the back, above the jack plate.  These are beautiful 13 ply Birch but I guess you could paint or stain them carefully. These were made for a low power tube system as they are sensitive to 101db at 1 watt and for the houserockers out there they have a power handling capacity of 200W.  I have moved on to a high power system with Maggie 1.7s, so I no longer have the need for these.  They are really heavy solid wood speakers weighing around 42 pounds a piece so I’m not interested in shipping these.  I prefer local pickup.  If you really wanted them shipped, the shipping costs and insurance are not included in the price.  The construction is SOLID, made earlier this year in the Illinois plant.  For some crazy reason, the serial numbers are not consecutive.  They were shipped without a manual but info is posted online at the BAGEND site.  They were purchased through an authorized dealer earlier this year (FULL COMPASS) who arranged the custom build.

If you have a garage band, these would probably be perfect for vocal or PA support as well.

I’m including a pair of LIVE WIRE 12 gauge 10 foot banana to speakon cables in the price.  The banana side fits standard spaced fittings (was perfect for my Dynaco ST-70).  The Speakon side fits Speakon connectors only.
