Audio Physic Spark III No loss of fine detail Get ready for Hi-fi Fun

Here is a
stunning pair of Audio Physic Spark III.

The
surround on one of the woofers developed some weird dry rot (?) where the
rubber dried out and deteriorated. I ordered and installed a new OEM driver
($139) from Goerner Communication, the Canadian distributor.

The old
driver worked fine, and I will include it if you want it.

Reinhard at Goerner Communication told me that
according to the serial number (2782A and B), these are series III Sparks. He
also told me that he’d never before seen an AP driver surround deteriorate as
mine did. Go figure.

I rarely describe the sound of the audio
components I sell, mainly because everyone’s ears/tastes/room/associated
components are different.  For instance,
I don’t care for B&W speakers, but most people do. Go figure MKII.

But I’m going to tell you my impression of
these Audio Physic Sparks. I’ve used them for awhile in my living room system
that gets turned on the morning, tuned to WFUV—an excellent college FM station
near my house. (Yes,  I’ll gloat;  with my rooftop antenna I receive 5-6 great
stations, mainly from NYC.)

My living room is not set up as a serious
listening room. It’s mostly just a way to have music in the common areas of my
home.

But more times than I can remember, as I walked
through the living room,  I’d pause and
listen to the amazing detail and pure music that came from the Sparks. They
sounded so good that I brought them downstairs to where I listen to music late
into the night with the high priced components. 
Even better.

These aren’t head banger speakers. You’re not
going to rattle your fillings with organ music, but they have a very natural
bass. Pleasing and deep enough for me. The mid range and highs are some of the
best.  Just amazing.

Come by for a listen. Bring your fav LP or CD.
Hell, I can even hook up your smart fone if you want to hear how good your fone
can really sound.

I have a factory box from a pair of
(substantially larger) pair of Audio Physic Virgo speakers, so I can ship these
Sparks to you,  but I’d prefer local pick
up.

I’m rating these as an 8/10. You’d rate them as
a 9/10.  Take a look at all the photos
and ask any and all questions. Nothing to hide here, just good, clean hifi fun
with no high-end attitude.

No international shipping on these. Domestic
paypal users must add 3.1% to the total cost.  Paypal users with funds that originate in an
international bank must add 4.1% to the total. Why not just send me a check or
money order.?
