What we have here is a used Bryson 10B-SUB Subwoofer Electronic Crossover for sale.

This CROSSOVER is in VERY nice shape, down to having the original box, packing, and copy of the manual.

This is an ELECTRONIC crossover, designed to use at preamp level, to allow you to properly connect a subwoofer into a 2-channel stereo system with ideal results.

To use it, you need a separate preamp and amplifier, or an integrated amp or receiver that has a “jumper loop” for its preamp outputs and main amp inputs.

It can be used with a single or a pair of powered subwoofers with amps inside or a passive subwoofer (or two for stereo), with a separate amplifier.

With this crossover, you can adjust the SLOPE, and HIGH-PASS, and LOW-PASS FREQUENCIES of the crossover. This is important.

Some audiophiles prefer a gradual slope, which helps blend your speakers to your sub.

For high volume listening, though, faster slopes allow you to play your main speakers louder with less power, since ALL the deep bass is taken away from them.

Here you can adjust the slope to slow, medium, or fast (6, 12, or 18dB/octave).

You can not only set the crossover frequency, but you can set the frequency where your main speakers roll off and where your sub takes over INDIVIDUALLY.

Since the crossover frequency is adjustable from 40-500Hz, this crossover should work with any sub on the planet.

Each channel has a HIGH PASS LEVEL knob. This allows you to set the levels of your sub and speakers to match exactly, even if your amps have differing gain.

A MUTE switch for the high-pass and low-pass sections allows you to “kill the sub” at any time, or “kill the speakers” to hear just the sub.

You can set the crossover to be used with one single channel output (for use with one powered sub, or one sub and a monoblock amp) or for stereo output, to use with TWO powered subs, or to passive subs and two amps (or a stereo amp).

The piece comes with a manual and carton with factory packing, a power cord, and a copy of the manual.
