Accuphase DG-38 Voicing/Equalizer. This piece is about 9 years old. I am the original owner. Fitted with balanced analog in and out. This DG-38 is placed after the pre-amp or in a tape loop. It digitizes the incoming analog signal, does all the processing digitally then converts back to analog. The process is transparent other than the effect it has on the resulting sound. The DG-38 has been succeeded by the DG-48 at $20,000.00 and from what I have read, there is no real difference. The same digital processor is used in both. The DG-38 can help solve room problems quite well. It is easy to use but some reading is required to get the most from it. The DG-38, as is expected from Accuphase, is a world class product in every way. Beautifully built and a true classic. Several option boards are available from Accuphase. I am selling because I no longer need digital correction for my system.
