Weiss Medea PLUS D/A Converter, Firewire version, with Glass Optical Input Upgrade! Digital Inputs 1-4 include: One Glass Optical (Weiss CHIRON-glass 1T) ; One XLR and one RCA ; One Firewire and one remote IR sensor ; And one BNC and one Toslink connector. Analog outputs include 2 RCA and 2 XLR connectors with an output level switch.

The Glass Optical Input Upgrade is an amazing addition if you have a transport with a Glass Optical output! Playing CD's through the Glass Optical connection provided sound equivalent to most Hi-Resolution downloads.

Additional features of the Firewire version are:
- Firewire socket in place of a RCA socket.
- IR remote sensor in place of a RCA socket.
- IR remote for volume and polarity (active for Firewire input only).
