Great sounding DAC. Texture, nuance, tone, reality. Rated for age only. Approximately four years old. Original Vekian DAC shortly upgraded to Opus version! Then last year upgraded to Opus PRIME. All SR audiophile fuses.
For those not familiar, Stahl-Tek is a company run under the umbrella of Jim Aud of Purist Audio Design. The Stahl-Tek DAC is used in the most demanding audiophile systems often where cost is no object. Although most of the popularity and press has been in the Asian market it is pretty well known throughout as being among the top tier converters on the market.
