This DAC plays every current resolution from Redbook to 24/192 and includes DSD both 64 and 128. The DAC was purchased in December 2013 and comes with a 5 year transferable warranty. No need to worry about sending it back to Poland, Lampizator has their own factory certified repair facility right here in the USA!. Besides all the great features the Level 5 has, (see Lampizator.eu for more details) I added the following customized features at the
Lampizator Factory which make it unique and special:
Balanced Output- With Double (4) Dueland Capacitors-
DSD 64 and 128 - with the unique circuit Lukasz developed. Does not change DSD to PCM before playing. This DAC plays native DSD.
Remote Volume Control Preamplifier- This Lampizator can serve as a remote controlled tube preamplifier as well as a tube DAC. This preamp can drive any amplifier and long interconnects.
Inputs- USB, XLR, AES/EBU. SPDIF RCA
Outputs- Balanced XLR and Single Ended
This unit is only a few months old so the condition should be perfect. But I'll list it as an 8 just in case. In my mind though it is a TEN!

I have all original packing materials that made it safe to ship from Poland.

| Does this play only DSD only or PCM as well? Hi,
Yes it plays both PCM natively and DSD 64 and 128 natively, which means no conversion to PCM first. So one gets the purest form of DSD possible. That is one reason this DAC is so special. Lukasz Fikus, the builder, is one of the first to achieve this feat Redbook (16/44..1) and higher resolutions (24/44, 24/48, 24/96, 24/176, and 24/192)are always PCM. This DAC uses only 5 tubes which can be left on 24 hours a day for the best sound quality. The tubes will be good for at least 5 years used this way. I hope this helps you make a decision. This is a fantastic DAC that has transformed my system. The only reason I'm selling it is I want more of the same sound which is what the Level 7 produces. Thanks for looking steven |
