Perfect condition 9/10 Lampizator with DSD and Volume Control.

I walked into the room at The Show Newport Beach and was blown away by the sound.  I've owned several "lower" level Lampi's but this was something completely beyond so I snatched it up on the spot.  It's time to go all in on the GG model for me.

This is a special unit, the only one to be made with Volume Control (+$1,200 option).  Per Lukasz, these dacs are best when ran directly into your amplifiers.  With this unit I hear no difference in bypassing a $20,000 pre and it may in fact be even more transparent with no loss of dynamics, etc.  I've had other Lampi's with both tube and solid state rectification and SS is the way to go in my opinion, just better bass with no loss of the magic.  I'm including a pair of JJ 101D's which sound great, I've also ran Sophia 300B Meshplates to great effect.  It'll accept 45's, 101D's , 2A3's, 300B.

I've not heard a better DAC (pre) at anywhere less than 2-3X my asking price, just get it and be done. (or spend way more $$)  It includes Cert of Authenticity, Remote, factory packaging.

Newport 2015  Audio Traveler Report:

"Some folks just get used to winning. The 1996 Yankees come to mind. Sure, ’97 was an off-year, but you justknew what was coming. Walking into this room felt a whole lot like that moment when we all figured out what kind winners the Yanks were.

First you had a new LampizatOr Lite 7 ($5950) with volume control, big DHTs, and solid-state rectification. It may have given up some of the rich harmonics of its hollow-state elder sibling, but it more than made up for that loss with the best defined transients and quickest bass I’ve heard from any system fronted by a Lampi. This may well be the Lampi that most appeals to my tastes."
