The FX Tube DAC III allows you to convert your digital files (via S/PDIF, Tos-Link, and USB) using the newest Burr Brown DAC chipsets, and then sends its all-analog waveform through a pair of 12AX7 tubes for the sound all analog lovers crave.

New MK3 version is now a DAC preamp and headphone amp.

The Jolida FX Tube DAC MK3 is  the most favorite inexpensive tube DAC available (GREAT REVIEWS ONLINE).

The MK3 replaces the MK2 and adds a preamp and headphone amp to the MK2.

The volume control is an Alps Blue Velvet control.

It uses ESA Clarity caps from England and a Burr Brown 1798 DAC chip. The Hi rez 96k USB input upsamples all inputs to 24.192k while the coax and optical inputs decode inputs signal up to 24.192k.

The DAC has the warm liquid mids of tubes. It has good bass and extension for a product at this price. It also has a very good soundstage.
