version of Hegel's highly acclaimed series of DACs.
The HD25 has four digital inputs and two analog outputs. The HD25 has a
built in pre amplifier and a remote control which allow easy integration with
power amps, active loudspeaker systems or headphone amplifiers.
the HD25 borrows much technology from the Hegel
Reference products. One of these is the use of
silicon germanium transistors. These components add extremely low levels of
noise, resulting in unsurpassed levels of resolution and a very natural
sound. You can also switch between two different digital filters to adjust
the sound to your taste. All inputs are impedance matched to minimize
distortion due to the quality of the digital cables. In addition, all inputs
are galvanically isolated.
The HD25 is flexible, highly refined and musical with an unmistakably

Rating a 9, but it is in as-new condition. Unit is 1+ year old and I have
factory box, software and paperwork.
Black finish. Selling only because I have 2 top-tier DACs and can't
justify keeping both.

can i just plug in and use
thanks norman toronto No software to load. The HD25 is plug and play including for PC & Mac computer USB connections. The only time you need an added driver is for PC if you want 192kHz / 24 bit resolution. (Free from Hegel website). The paperwork I have is the owner's manual. |
