Emm Labs Dac2X - upgraded

Superb DAC2X.  1st
owner.  Bought it new at the end of
January from an authorized dealer.  It is absolutely
mint.    I used to own a dCS Debussy as well as a dCS Puccini, but the DAC2X beats them squarely in terms of musicality and liveliness.  The dac has also been upgraded with a Hifi-Tuning Supreme fuse.  According to the dealer recent
units like this one are even better performers than older units manufactured
before the middle of 2014. I never had the chance to do that comparison myself and have no way to verify,
but it sure do sound fantastic.  Condition-wise I very conservatively rate it as a 9.  Many would consider it a 10.

This dac has a very musical, absolutely gorgeous sound, without any harshness.  Tone is great.  Soundstage is wide and deep.  Overall it’s the most analog DAC that I’ve
heard. A guy asked me once why I had bought this dac instead of a ‘’trendy’’
and cheaper dac as the Auralic Vega and the PS audio.  However before choosing the DAC2X  I had personally compared these dacs to the two
dCS that I used to own, and they were not even close.  And the Emm Labs is clearly superior to the
dCS, so you get the picture!

I have the original packaging. I have replaced the original power cable by a much better power Furutec cable with high end rhodium plated plugs. I ship from Canada.  Buyer pays 3% Paypal and 200$ flat shipping fees (continental USA and Canada.  The remaining warrantee will be honoured (still 4 years 6 months) I’ll post pictures in coming days.
