The Bolder mod also includes replacing 30 capacitors, 12 diodes, 7 resistors and added two circuit boards to the tube section. He also added another 30 capacitors for bypass and supplemental use. The EE MiniMax DAC was designed for a price point, but he raised the price point by using higher quality parts and redesigning the tube output circuit.
The mod also comes with a cryo treated, silver plated, ceramic fuse
This unit punches way up into the $2000-$3000 dac ranges. Way outperforms the stock unit. The USB is disabled - per Wayne at Bolder it was not very good in the original unit.

| Hi I have two questions.First is this level one or level two Bolder mod?Second would you consider shipping to Canada?I do have a US post box ,but that still is fairly major inconvenience if it can be avoided. Thank you Paul Level 1 / I would ship to Canada if you pay for shipping costs |
