This is the updated 2013 version that I purchased new from SimpliFi Audio. I also purchased the Ultra Low Noise Power Supply from SimpliFi at the same time. SimpliFi had this power supply specifically built using a Pangea case and transformer, but the rest is of their own design including filter caps and a new board to provide a much more robust, quieter and cleaner power supply. It is no overstatement to say it takes this processor/DAC to a whole other sonic level, and once heard, you won't go back to the stock wall wart.

I bought it for the bass room correction, but wound up using it for that plus EQ and as my primary DAC via its optical input. In every application it delivers as promised and definitely will tame room bass nodes delivering not only tuneful linear bass but improved overall clarity.

The unit is in as-new condition and will come with everything it did originally in the original packaging to include both the wall wart power supply and the low noise Simplifi PSU (a must!), power cable, mic, USB cable, remote and manual.
