DCS Elgar Plus DAC & Purcell Upsampler Combo with 1394 bus for outstanding resolution!

dCS make some of the finest digital equipment. money can buy. The reviews have underscored this. They have been outstanding! It is also very expensive to buy. The dCS combo offered here offers excellent value and is still amongst the very best in the market. I have yet to find comparable equipment at this price! Trading up to the later dCS DAC and Upsampler is significantly more expensive!

Widely acclaimed Elgar Plus DAC and Purcell digital Upsampler to DSD (2.822Ms/s!) are offered for sale as a combo. This really is an outstanding DAC and Upsampler. The full DSD Upsampling (IEEE1392) provides the best possible resolution. You will be amazed. Some dCS equipment offered at a cheaper price, does not have this essential capability (it came as an optional extra) which offers very noticeable sonic benefits. The Elgar Plus and Purcell have been the mainstay of my system for some time. I am upgrading to a rather more expensive dCS based system, hence the sale.

Suitable for 120V or 230V (dCS supplied conversion plug available to switch to 230V). Well maintained (see pictures) and fully working. Complete with remote controls, manuals and original boxes.
