If you are looking at this ad, then you know the history behind this DAC. This was one of the first DACs to ever receive a Stereophile Class A rating. Heroic power supply, great dynamics, and precise imaging make for a non-digital listening experience.

A reference Redbook DAC and preferred by some to new ESS Sabre DACs. If you don't have hi-rez files this might suprise in just how good a 16 bit / 44.1 kHz file can sound.

A service manual, schematic, and 220V voltage conversion instructions will be included. To summarize the conversion process:

After removing the covers (top cover and power supply cover)

- Locate resistor(s) R101, R102, and R103
- Remove resistors or jumpers R101 and R102
- Install a new jumper at position R103

Install covers and test

A few sharp eyed shoppers have noticed the RMA number on the box. I believe it is from the trade in program at PS Audio, which required a RMA number before shipment to the factory. I bought it from PS Audio. Since owning the unit, it has functioned perfectly.
