This is the Audio Note reference DAC that I have written about in Positive Feedback. I am not selling it because it displeases me. I bought it based on an inheritance I was supposed to receive which has not come through, and the loan that I used to bridge the gap is gathering too much interest. It’s a really wonderful DAC whether you use it with a CD transport or with a bridge device for a computer, as it is capable of going up to 24/96 and doing so gloriously. If you live in the San Francisco Bay Area, I can arrange for a private demonstration. This all tube DAC has both S/PDIF and AES/EBU inputs and supports both single-ended and balanced outputs. This DAC is currently setup to run on US power; however, a qualified Audio Note technician can set it to run on the power of your choice so you’re ready to play it right out of the box.
