AMR DP777SE New in box, Black, one of the first in the US

This is a brand new still in the box and wrapped in the original shipping material black AMR DP777SE that arrived on my doorstep 2/25/15. I don't even want to unwrap it. It may be the best DAC out there and certainly at the price point it's unbeatable. I ordered it long ago after my CD77.1 was damaged in transit. In the meantime, I purchased an Aesthetix Romulus and still love the convenience of a single box solution for DAC and CD player. Yes, I still spin some disks.....

I am relisting this as Avatar offered to sell it for me, but has passed it back to me. It's a long story, but although the DP777SE is brand new and unused, the warranty is non-transferrable since it is now in my possession. I am happy to open it and test it to be sure it is functioning perfectly before shipping it. Local pick up would be fantastic and I am willing to drive up to two hours from Tivoli, New York to meet anybody halfway.

Vince Luke at AMR tells me they went all out on this and the original DP was a killer, so this has to be incredible. He also tells my that the GE5670 tube is a perfect upgrade for it and I bought some from the sixties, seventies and eighties in anticipation. They are also listed here for sale at a great price.

For what it's worth, also according to Vince Luke, the best server input is AES/BSU followed by USB. For transports, he recommended BNC.
