Bruch's Scottish Fantasy and Vieuxtemps' Concerto No. 5 on RCA Victor Living Stereo: Sir Malcolm Sargent conducting the New Symphony Orchestra of London with Heifetz, violin. The critical commentary includes: "10+...Excellent...Violin is 10++... and it most certainly is....Heifetz's Guarnerius is superbly well recorded...and the orchestra is also well served....Luminous sound and beautiful playing...this is one of Heifetz's famous showpieces and he performs it to perfection....One of the great RCAs...Highly recommended. This LP is pressed from a 5s/7s stamper and runs very-good-plus to excellent. The liner and album cover are in good shape for their age. A duplicate in my collection.
