This is a true 1st Pressing (FR1/FR1) Mercury Living Presence LP manufactured in the US ( has the 'I' stamp on deadwax) but labeled and sold in the UK (New Zealand). This is NOT a UK/EMI pressing.

The label has all the appropriate European 'Trademark Stamps' (BIEM etc) making this an extremely rare, collecatable pressing.

Mastered by George Piros (P17).

Typical prices for the US version of this LP range from $300 - $1600 but this unusual pressing is much more rare.

The LP plays/sounds Mint + (with the exception of 1 track on side II noted below).

Astounding sound! There is so much detail captured on this pressing that the imaging appears to be almost 3-D. Close your eyes and you are sitting 1st row center in the concert hall. Simply fantastic sound. I have compared this LP to another 1st pressing in my private collection (given to me personally by HP and the subject of an article I wrote for HP Soundings last year) and this LP is slightly more open and detailed.
Minimal surface noise on Side I. Side II/track 3 (Turina - "La Oracion Del Torero") does have a series of 'ticks' which are low-level but still audible in certain quiet sections of the track - otherwise Side II is extremly clean with only minimal surface noise. Price has been more than adequately adjusted for this.

Each record is washed on a VPI cleaning machine using a proprietary 3-5 agent process which is determined by the needs of the individual record. Each record is then listened to 100% to insure that the posted description is exactly what you can expect to get.
