Columbia Stereo M2S 735 - Mahler Symphony # 10 - Ormandy and the Philadelphia Orchestra. Boxed set of two records. Mahler is one of my favorite composers and this is his best symphony. He completed only the first movement but he sketched out the whole symphony. British musicologist and composer Deryck Cooke orchestrated the other movements as he thought Mahler would have done if he had lived long enough. Anyway, it is great music and well performed by Ormandy and the famed Philadelphia Orchestra. Boxed set of two records. Records are near mint. The box has some edge damage.
