On this particular RCA 1965 PLUM label release on VICS-1102, we have the Beethoven Symphony No. 4 combined with Wagner's Siegfried Idyll; Beethoven performed by the London Symphony Orch. and Wagner performed by the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra. This LP is a 1s/1s pressing in excellent condition with the Beethoven Symphony playing beautifully. This recording was so highly regarded that I ended up with three copies in my collection. Critical comment: "the Decca recording team(on behalf of RCA) captures all of the Beethoven dynamics throughout...string sound allied with a fine seasoning of hall ambience..." Monteux conducts both works.
