214 LP's from Preiser Records in - Vienna - Opera and Lieder from The Greatest Singers Ever

This is 1 of 2 ads covering these 214 records. The total for all is $500. These are opera and lieder albums from singers, mostly based in Europe, that were active mainly between the World Wars. To me they are the best. I have been collecting these records for over 40 years. I contacted the head of Preiser records in Vienna and she said they did not even have a complete collection of the LP's there. This is probably one of the most complete sets you will come across. Since, unlike the pharaohs, I can not take them with me, I am looking for a new home for the collection. All the albums are pictured between the 2 ads. All have been cleaned on my VPI machines, and are in excellent condition, with the covers in generally very good condition. The biographies on the back of the album are in German. Some of the writers were very poetic and had me using a dictionary to look up the words. The shipping on these will be in 3 boxes by USPS Media Mail (approx. cost $75).
