I found this Awesome Piece at an Estate Sale - at first I thought I was looking at an old cheap plastic CD Player from back in the 80's due to the "DIGITAL" label on the front panel.....almost passed it by then something told me to pick it up.....WOW! It is heavy! 19 lbs & chock full of electronics! Wait....why does it look NEW? and why does it say "Date of Manufacture 1983" ? So, suffice to say this piece had to have been NOS and been recently removed from the original packaging (& I mean recent as in 30 days or less). I would have given this item a NEW MINT rating if it weren't for a few nicks from some knucklehead! The nicks aren't that bad (see pics) but do take away the MINT rating (not by much). Tape is still intact on the rear (see pics) & it does not look as if anyone has ever used the rear RCA jacks. I have tested the unit 100% using the headphone jack on the front - this baby sounds sweet & is operating perfectly!! Remote is almost MINT as well & I have included the ORIGINAL batteries......new batteries have been installed in the Remote & it is working perfect as well. Please don't insult me with lowball offers as I fully intend to keep this piece of CD history for myself if I can't get what I feel is reasonable.
