Selling my beloved CD5 / FC2 combo that has served me for many yrs as a reference entry-level digital front-end. After yrs of flawless operation, CD5 was serviced last yr by Chris West from AV Options (new transport mechanism, servo driver chip, re-cap & software update) which should add 10 more yrs to its carefree performance. I'm the original owner of both conservatively rated units (both units are more consistent with 8/10), which I'm only selling because of upgrade to Naim DAC / XPS2-DR that required the CD5XS.
