The 808.2 Signature Reference was an evolution from the 808 & 808i (first 808 with apodizing filter) It includes a built in preamp with a number of different sources.
Just installed (Under Warrantee) was the latest & improved transport and updated power supply! This player shows no signs of wear. It comes with the original boxes, manuals, cords and new unused remote. I opened it from the sealed bag to compare it to my dealers 808.3 V5 he was going to sell me. It was an opportunity I couldn't resist. I had planed on buying a sooloos system, but at the moment I will be allocating money to rebuild my 911 engine. (pic of engine block next to my DSP8000 love the similarities of the opposed six!
I only played 3 CD's with it and placed it back in the box. It still has a month left on the warrantee.
