This Meridian 506 disc player was one of the models that put Meridian at the forefront of CD players in the eyes of many audiophiles.

It sold for under $2000, yet sounded very, very close to the most expensive players you could buy.

It still sounds fantastic, even compared with many $4000.00 disc players.

• It is used, but it’s the best condition 206 that I have seen in many, many years.
  

It has obviously led a babied life!

The owner kept it in great shape, and gave us the box, packing, manual, remote, and power cord.

If you’ve always wanted one of these great layers, I simply can’t imagine finding a nicer example.

The laser was, apparently, replaced in 2007. It plays all my “torture track” CDs, and changes tracks swiftly, so it appears to have good life left.

This older model, with our very low reserve, will enable some budding audiophile to taste the best-of-the-best at a TINY fraction of the price of a new Meridian player.

This player is beautiful. Pictures to not do it justice. It has a glass top and feels like a brick, it’s so solid. The dot matrix display is also very classy.

NOTE: Since this is an older machine, and mechanical devices do wear out, there is some risk in buying this player. It might last 15 years, 15 months, or 15 hours. It has been working well for its pervious owner, and passed my tests with flying colors, though.

And it sounds simply spectacular.
