Construction & Design

A three-part chassis design is used to support the heavy VRDS-NEO mechanism and to prevent electrical interference between each circuit. The mechanism is centered within the chassis for stability. The chassis is supported by three pinpoint feet (patent pending), made of quenched steel, allowing the unit to be mechanically isolated from its environment. Thick aluminum is used on the front panel, and 1.6mm-thick steel is used for the covers to block vibrations. The front panel is designed to be simple yet elegant, with a brushed finish. 480p, 720p and 1080i. This is achieved from your existing DVD collection, without having to buy new software! Compatible software includes DVD-video, DVD-audio, SACD, CD, DVD-R/RW, CD-R/RW and Video-CD. Digital video signals are passed to a compatible display through the UX-3SE’s DVI output connector. High quality 24 bit Burr Brown DACs (2 chips per channel), are used in a differential configuration for front L+R channels with a specially designed DAC transformer. This helps to insure superb audio output signals. High cabinet rigidity, isolation platform designs and the VRDS transport mechanism used have all evolved from designs of the Esoteric X-01 and UX-1 series.
