A demomodel Esoteric PO3/DO3/GO3X CD/SACD playback system - this was a store demo model from a dealer that upgraded to a full PBN Audio front end. Below a description from Esoterics website of the 3 pieces that is offered here as a package deal only. The P-O3: Reproduces highly detailed performances surrounded by extreme transparency. Advanced technology combines the highly acclaimed Esoteric "Flagship" series design concepts of the P-01/D-01 system, and applies new DSD signal processing at a more affordable price point. As a result, the P-03/D-03 combination meets all the challenges of capturing spoken or musical potential of CD and SACD software. A newly advanced VRDS-NEO mechanism has been developed and is supported by a highly rigid body construction. The P-03/D-03 CD/SACD transport system is extremely versatile, featuring multiple user selectable playback modes. These include CD audio (Redbook) playback, native DSD decoding, PCM up-conversion and Esoteric’s advanced PCM to DSD signal conversion. An integrated one-piece body style contains separate power supply and transport compartments within a "dual chassis" design. The integrated chassis construction is based on the same design concepts of the "Flagship" Model P-01. Digital signal transfer of DSD signals is now offered with an i.LINK interface, in addition to ESOTERIC’s proprietary ES-LINK format. The D-O3: A new 2-channel D/A converter, developed from the high performance Esoteric mono-block D-01 design, without any compromise in sound quality. Additional features include: Analog Devices model AD1955 DAC’s driven by differential mode for DSD and PCM signal processing. The G-O3X: The G-03X is a younger sibling of the flagship G-0Rb and is an evolutionary successor to the crystal clock generator model G-0. The G-03X has an OCXO (Oven Controlled Crystal Oscillator) circuit on board. The OCXO is a small thermostatic chamber used to heat the combination oscillator core and control circuits at a fixed, high-thermal level. This provides stability to the crystal clock, being free from unwanted characteristic variations. As a result, the G-03X is exceptionally stable at +/- 0.1 ppm clock stability, even within severe thermal environments ranging from -20C to 70C!
