Offered here is my beloved Audio Research CD3 Mk II. Cosmetically, the unit is in near-pristine condition (save for a slight fading of the anodizing on the upper RH edge - see photo). As the photos indicate, this unit originally shipped with a black faceplate (which I have since sold) and no handles - a combination I can not tolerate. So I purchased a new faceplate and handles from ARC (at a whopping $400!!!!).
Operationally, it continues to perform flawlessly although it has received very little use under my ownership, languishing largely unused in an all-ARC system.
The unit comes with all accessories: puck, remote, power chord (never used), manual, warranty card, QC checklist and the double boxes in excellent condition.
My asking price of $1,650 includes PayPal fees and free FedEx Ground shipping to anywhere in the Lower-48. The massive outer box measures 25" x 25" x 15" and the total weighs a whopping 37 lbs so my offer of free shipping is quite a savings. If you care to pick up the unit in Portland, OR, there will be a $95 discount.
