Audio Note AN-CD2 CD Player with remote control in very good condition. Everything works perfectly without any issue. Draw opens/closes smoothly always reading CDs with no problems whatsoever. All remote functions work perfectly.

This CD player has the advantage of the highly prized AD1865 DAC chip (same as in AN's current top models), along with an ECC82 tube output circuit.

Currently, USA made old stock 5814A is installed. It sounded so good that I just left it alone and did not perform any tube rolling.

Please check the photos for cosmetic condition. Front face is clean with no scratches. Some hard to see scratches elsewhere.

Payment by Check or Money Order only (no Paypal).

Local pickup is always welcome.

From Audio Note:

"The CD2 was specifically designed and engineered for the best sonic performance rather than technical specifications."

"The CD2 uses the revolutionary and currently exclusive Audio Note digital technology dubbed the 1 x oversampling direct from disc circuit topology. The ultimate version of this technology is found in the extremely expensive DAC5 Signature, and we have taken great to ensure that as much of the inherent advantages of the topology have been retained in the sound of the CD2."

"The technology dispenses with all the correction measures inherent in all other DA converters and presents the digital signal directly to the converter after reformatting. This allow you to hear what is actually recorded on each disc, rather than, as has been the case up to now, some technically and cosmetically altered version, as a result the reproduction is more reminiscent of a master tape in quality."
