never used Van den Hul Colibri XGP gold Reference mk-2 version from a collector
in Germany who had it since a few months as a back up cartridge. After he
purchased the platinum version he asked us to sell his XGP that comes with full
warranty and a free 300 hour service after burning in. This latest edition of
the Colibri Gold is for sale for a rather low price, retail 5600 Euro. It comes
in the original wood box, hand signed by Van den Hul. A mini spirit level for
perfect adjustment is included as are the original mounting bolts. This edition
has an output of 0,38 mV measured at 5.6 sec/cm. So enough for the most phono
MC amps. It can be used in many tone arms, advised is light to medium weight
mass arms. Advised is an effective mass between 10-16 gram.

The quality of the sound is a lot described in Audio
tests. It is a world-class cartridge that will give you the highest level of
performance. If you play new records or golden oldies worn out, you will be
surprised by the honest live like sound. It’s like really being in the studio
