purchased this cartridge 3 months ago. He decided to buy the same cartridge in
the African Black wood edition, XPW ABG Platinum Reference, so he asked me to
sell this cartridge for him. It is produced about 3 months ago, it has never
been used so still as a virgin in the box. It is there latest edition of the
Colibri Platinum. It has new Swiss very pure platinum coils that will protect
it in countries where the humidity is high. The cartridge has a 4 layer
platinum coil that gives a comfortable output of 0,38 mV measured at 5.6
sec/cm.  Load advised 500 Ohm.The difference with many other cartridges is
that a Colibri has such a high resolution, it will give you so much more
musical information from your records, it is like listening to a new
collection. A very good three-dimensional soundstage, very good dynamics and a
very open character. When I compared a Colibri for the first time with another
well-respected brand, it was like the curtains opened for me. This is what many
owner experience too. The cartridge is easy to set up, phono load of 350-500
Ohm is rather common and with an advised effective mass between 10-16 gram it
will perform very good in many tone arms. The polycarbonate body will give a
very food damping. The cartridge comes in the original wood box with all
individual details hand written and signed by Van den Hul. Of course it has a
warranty of three years and a free service after 300 hours of burning in if you
would like this. A Colibri is a cartridge made to last many years of musical
joy. Service and repairs are always possible in case it is needed. The Colibri
XPP Platinum Reference is retail 6400 Euro. This may be your chance to own a
