I am selling my extremely lightly used phono cartridge. This is a Soundsmith Sussurro Paua stereo cartridge - serial number P100127-KR. It is a LOW output moving iron design - this DOES require a moving coil phono preamplifier. Optimal tracking force is 1.8 grams, and Resistive Minimum Load is 470 ohms. The cartridge - as you can see in the photos - has been returned to the custom wooden shipping box, secured with the factory screws (I am also throwing in my set of Soundsmith EX Mount thumb screws - much easier to use because no tools are needed).
You can read about the Paua here at the Soundsmith website:

I was using this cartridge with a SimAudio 310LP phono stage along with the SimAudio 320S power supply.
I purchased this cartridge new from MusicDirect in December 2014 - almost 7 months ago - for $3,800. MusicDirect technicians mounted this onto my new VPI 3D Printed tonearm which I use with a VPI Classic 2 turntable (this turntable and tonearm combo is already listed for sale).
The Paua and 3D tonearm have had less than 20 hours of use since I bought them in December. That's why I'm selling my turntable and gear - I'm just not using them very much anymore.
The Paua is a Stereophile Class A component - an elite cartridge that holds its own against many cartridges priced up to $10K. This one is in like-new condition - with 20 hours of use, some say that it isn't even broken-in yet. No detergents have touched this. I clean the cartridge by gently dipping it into my ZERODUST stylus cleaner and lifting it (using the turntables queue arm always to protect the stylus).
