Dynavector DV DRT XV-1

Used cartridge with unknown hours.  What I do when listing a cartridge I did not buy new (and this is what everyone should do!) is list any defects, if observed, and associated equipment used to evaluate.  I cannot list hours as I do not know for certain.  I can say that I only added 10-20 myself since owning it.  It looks as if the previous owner took care of it as well.  While it does not look "new" (and it's not, its not the latest T or S version) it still looks good and sounds great.  It didn't quite beat out my Universe, but it boogied along nicely with no sibilance detected, a very robust bass, and a huge soundstage.  A real rock n' roll cart to be sure, everything just rocked through this thing.  This was through my Triplanar/VPI/Steelhead/Cincident CSL/Berning230/Phy drivers in OB set-up.

Still plenty of life left in this cart and if/when it ever does go south you can always send to Peter at Soundsmith for a top-shelf (and affordable!) re-tip.
