Denon 103D Retipped by Soundsmith with their Level 3 retip (ruby cantilever and optimized line contact stylus) housed in a Uwe Rosewood body with Supex Headshell. Approximately 100 hours on the cartridge since retipping. Inspected with a magnifying glass and no wear was visible on the stylus, just a little dusty.
Amazing sounding moving coil cartridge that cannot be beat for the price. The rosewood body and retip take this already good cartridge to amazing levels. I have since upgraded with the purchase of new TT.
These bodies are no longer available. Prefer local pick up and demo so that you can see/hear what you are buying. Great price which is not even recouping the cost of modifying the cart.
