| How does the G2 compare to the G3? Is it worth waiting for a G3? I have owned the Vitus SCD-010 and enjoyed it more than my mbl 1611/1621 separates using all mbl equipment and loudspeakers. Will the G2 sound similar to the Vitus? Any thoughts or opinions are appreciated!

The ART G2 is truly unbeatable for this kind of money - and musical. The ART G3 is similar to the ART G2 but offers more higher resolution as well as more impact in dynamics.
Last, if you are looking for a player that is not only comparable to the best players but exceeds it in many ways, look at the VIP G3.
If I had a choice to have an ART G2 now or an ART G3 or VIP G3 next year, I would get the ART G2 now because I value the only time i have available - now. The ART G2 has only very happy customers and unless you compare them side by side, you won't miss the VIP G3 or ART G3. However, comparing side by side will make you want to buy either the ART G3 or VIP G3.
Last: Always get any ART or VIP with an EPS powersupply or at least commit to it for later - it's like going from Valhalla to Odin!
