Jaguar is an authorized dealer for Bakoon Products Intl.  We have one black unit in stock and a few more on the way.  The Bakoon HPA-01 is the little brother to the HPA-21.  It’s about half the size and weight and lacks the Satri input in the rear (used only for other Bakoon products).  Like the HPA-21 it has both current and voltage outputs, so it also serves as two amps in one...choose which output sounds best with the headphone you’re using.  The gain switch is only active for the current output.  The circuit design is very similar, but slightly less complex than the HPA-21.

If you’re wondering how to choose between the two, the HPA-21 is the right choice for the audiophile who demands maximum flexibility with low and high-sensitivity headphones.  The HPA-01 is the better choice if you’re watching your budget and it performs with 90% of the sound of the HPA-21.  We recommend to our clients to go with the HPA-21 if you want to be able to run a pair of Sennheiser HD800 and HiFi Man HE-6, but if all you care about is amazing sound with the Sennheiser or Audeze, go with the HPA-01.
