Beautifully designed and built by Jef Larsen, and finished in July, 2012. The 4 tubes are triode-connected in a SRPP circuit and the amp uses a CLC supply filter and split heaters, resulting in a dead-quiet presentation. Optimized for 50-600 ohms, the amp has worked extremely well with both a Sennheiser 650 (300 0hms) and an Audio Technica ATH-W1000X (42 ohms), and not quite as well with inefficient planar magnetic 'phones. This one-off unit will ship with quads of both 6CL6 and 6197 for your listening pleasure, and represents a superb value, compared to more conventional units. Selling only because my new hearing aids don't interact well with anything other than my old Stax Sigmas.
The amp is rated 8/10 because of its hand-made character, and it will ship via FedEx at buyer's expense to the continental US. I'll accept PayPal (+3%), and will cheerfully ignore lowball offers. No trades, please.
