Selections include Khachaturian's "Sabre Dance", Elgar's "Pomp and Circumstance March No. 1", Falla's "The Three-Cornered Hat: Dance", Ginastera's "Malambo", Copland's "Hoedown", Shostakovich' "The Age of Gold: Polka", Anderson's "Bugler's Holiday", Tchaikovsky's "Marche Slave" and Gavotte: "The Blues" conducted by Arthur Fiedler leading the Boston Pops, this a 1964 recording from Boston Symphony Hall. Critical comments include: "...Fine disc with lovely transparent strings, fine well-scaled stage..." The LP is easily underestimated; the exciting music, the BSO led by Fiedler is hard to top. This LP is rated A to A- and is a "White Dog" pressed with 2s/2s stampers. A duplicate in my collection. The liner and album cover are in fair to good shape.
